Just to let everyone knows what’s new here:

Obviously the look has changed a bit, but aside from that there are a few new features that I have added.

1. Direct-to-ImageShack uploading. When you want to have an image hosted to post here, just click "upload an image" under the text field, click browse, find your image and click upload. You will automatically be given the codes, generated by ImageShack, to add to your post or PM.

2. Additional smilies are located to the left of the text field, These are only available for posts, not for PMs. There was a coding conflict that won’t allow me to position the smilie link properly in the PM window.

3. Up/Down links which bring you to either the bottom of a page or the top, respectively, so you don’t have to scroll to the latest post in a thread, or to the menu bar at the top of the window.

4. Private message (PM) alerts will appear as small boxes at the top right corner of the window to alert you instantly when you receive a PM. These boxes will fade out after a few seconds and appear/disappear as you navigate through the forums until you check your messages.

5. Admins/Gmods/Mods can now access their board functions directly on the main page by clicking on the “Show Multi-Moderation Options” located at the bottom right of the main page above the info box.

6. Only staff members may delete posts.

7. “Last edited by ….” Messages will no longer appear after a post has been edited, so you can fix those typos without anyone knowing you had to go back in and fix it.

8. And one last addition I made just for [user] to have some fun with. If you type [ user ] (**without the spaces) in any thread title, post or PM, each user viewing it will see their own name in place of [ user ]. You have just read an example of how this looks to a forum member, and are about to see another --->. [user] will see the name [user] whereas others will see their own name. Guests will simply see it as “guest”.
*If you go back into a post that uses this function, to edit the post, you may nead to re-enter the [ user ] tag where it belongs becasue it tends to insert your name inplace of it when you edit the post and all people will see is your name instead of their own.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for other ways to improve this forum please feel free to say so and I’ll see what I can do about implementing them.

okay, I gotta say this forum is way more cooler than before: with all the new features, some other things you've made also to make it more convenient for our use. I'm just glad you took away mostely all the stuff you outlined because it made me feel I was taking notes in chemistry class ZZZZZZZ(sorry but I do visualize A LOT things in a weird way.)

About the edit thing, you should have an option for it to show that you edited it. That way admins/mods/gmods who edit posts can make a point and people who messed up can remain annoymous

lol easier to do it that way. A code for that would be overly compicated and isnt worth the slowdown time it would cause, but good idea anyway just not practical. And editing another persons posts is only something we have HAD to do once.

Which is the better cursor, this green animtaed arrow you are using now, or the sword I put HERE? Or should I just use both in different places? You decide.

Bin your work and effort you put into the website is great and is much appreciated. The site is easy to navigate and as well as the fun and banter we have on here I have also discovered usefull information, websites and programmes.
I know you would like feedback from us so you can make the site better and the only thing I can come up with is the fact that my girlfriend is going to leave me and take the kids with her if she hears "howdy ho" one more time.
Who is that guy anyway? is he some cartoon character?

10. Avatar gallery, but some of the avatars I added by direct link and the bastards took them away so now I have to find new ones.

10. Your profile settings page now has a dropdown menue for timezones so no more changing them manually.

11. Additional "back to top" links in each post.

11. And becasue there is apparently an age minimum to post on a proboards forum, I have decided to add an age check promt in the registration page. If you are under the age of 13 you will not be allowed to register. This is irrelivant to any current members unless you nead to, or decide to, create any new accounts.

Thanks Jer, I appreciate the comments and the appreciation for my effort. Happy to do it and the only thing I regret is waiting a year to getting around to doing it.

LOL ya I have to turn the volum down myself, because of all the work I've been doing on here I return to the main page 100000 times to get this stuff done and checked. Its a character named Mr. Hankey the Christmass Poo ( he is actually a talking turd who runs around promoting the spirit of Christmass lol ) from an animated show, here in the states, called South Park. Mabe it's time to let that sound effect work its way off the forum huh?

Bahh the avatar gallery is up but I cant get accounts to accept the changes directly from that window yet becasue Proboards just enacted a new security protocal that requires you to enter you password before making any changes and thats something I nead to learn more about before I can work with it so hopefully soon. But atleast you can see all the images in a gallery format so you can choose the ones you like.

Thanks, I figured the flat background wasn't in-keeping with the 3D look so I roughed it up a bit.

Did someone say they wanted a chatbox at the bottom of the main page?...... No?.....Well I put one there anyway so too bad.

Just enter your name the first time you send a message and it will remember your name till you reset the chatbox or you flush your cookies, so you don't have to enter your name every time. Guests are welcome to use this as well as members. You can scroll through the messages to read previous ones. Basic UBB codes can be used in chat messages. A list of those codes can be found HERE

Spell checker added.....sorta. There is now a box in the upper right corner of all reply windows. It doesn't work the way a Word spell check does though. You nead to enter a word into the box and click "Spellcheck", a window will open which will tell you if your word is spelled correctly or not. If it is not then it will offer you choices of correct spellings which you can highlight and copy and paste back here into your reply. Not as good as it could be but better then nothing for those of us (like me) who are spelling impared. But not to worry, when the proboards upgrade to V4 there will be an integrated spell check just like Microsoft Word has so be patient.

I have added a Games section for registered forum members only, which can not be seen without logging in. There are a couple of simple, single player, Java games in there now to get things started. Feel free to add any kind of forum game to the section.

You can now give yourself any title you want under your name. In your profile page there is a field under the avatar section that will allow you to enter any custum title you want.

*note: As with any profile changes, you now nead to enter your password before saving your changes.

Scratch that part about the custum titles for now, too many code conflicts. Maybe I can get it back up but I'm not sure that it will ever work correctly so I have removed the codes for it.

Ok so you've had the gameroom appetizer. Ready for the main course? This is really, really, really, really, really.....really good stuff. Took me a long, long (ok I wont do that again) time to get this thing going but the ARCADE has arrived and in a pretty big way if I do say so myself. Again, you don't need to be a Lusitania member to go to the gameroom, but it is for FORUM members only so register if you haven't allready.
