Hmm I am having serious PC problems at the moment as whenever I turn on my PC a programme called dumprep or spmething turns my pc back off again. On the odd occassion I am able to alt/ctrl delete and then stop the programme running before it turns my pc off. I have then gone to the start tab and stopped this application running every time i start up again but every now and again my PC just goes off and then dumprep is again added to my applications which start on startup. My crashes started to happen after I downloaded a film from filelist and now every time i try to play certain films my pc crashes again Hmm as most of you know I am a PC noob but if anyone can point me towards info that may help I would appreciate it. Cheers jer

Sounds like you caught yourself a nasty little bug Jer. Whenever I got anything like that my first plan of attack was this:
1) Delete all cookies and temp files from ALL user accounts. 2) Run a virus scan. 3) Run a spyware 'search and destroy' program like 'spybot'. If you don't have one you can find it in the Programs forum. 4) This is the real key; do a 'system restore' from Windows 'System Tools' to a point in time before you had the problem. Go back as far as you nead to, you wont loose anything that you have saved.
Hope this helps, if not let me know and we'll try some more drastic aproaches.
