LvR Lobby Now Available to the Public

Well, the end-days of EE are upon us. So I have decided to make the unique Lusitania Game Staging area ( + other bonuses ) mod, that I created, available to the public to anyone who wants a bit of novelty and change. Until now it has been a Lusitania-member only mod. I like to call it “LvR” (as opposed to the common term “TvB” that we often use to describe team composition). As for the “+other bonuses”; they include:

• Ultimate Blank Name: Clicking the little “E” looking symbol on the login screen, the one that the cursor is pointing to in the picture HERE, will allow you onto the server as a name with zero characters without actually having to log in. You can join or host games and play them using this name, but only if you are the only person in that game using this feature. In other words if 3 people log on using this, then they can all play games but they cannot play in the SAME game together. You can not be added to a friends list, whispered, or warned when you use this, because the server does not realize that you exist.
  
  *IMPORTANT* If you want to use the login bypass button, you MUST first create a new username that you do not care about. When you want to log on using the bypass, first logon using the new username you created then log out and go to the main screen (the one with the Multiplayer, Single Player, Tools, etc options). You can then return to the login screen and press the "E" bypass button. This is necessary because using the bypass will result in the complete erasure of the friends and ignore lists stored for the name you were previously logged on to. Following this simple, single step, instruction will ensure the integrity of the lists for names you use normally.
  
  You will not be automatically connected to a "Room" so you must go to the "Room" tab and choose a server.
  
  
  
• The character limit for chat windows has been doubled.
  
  
  
• Set it up so that people who are set to Anonymous Mode can be located despite the fact that they are in anonymous mode. (you are still "hidden" from others if you are in anonymous mode, except to those others who also have this modification) Nobody hides from me.
  
  
  
• If you would like to be able to join games that have no ping, then replace the "WONLobby.cfg" file located in in the Empire Earth folder with this version HERE.
  

Also altered the popup window, where you enter the name of the game you want to host, slightly. Just the order of the options, nothing major. And gave myself some credit in the Help window, under "Lobby Skins". This is now included in all the skins I have made.

download the zip and extract to C:\Sierra\Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest\Data OR C:\Sierra\Empire Earth\Data


Step-by step instructions
click "Save". Choose a location to download the 'zip folder' to. Click "Save". Click "Open Folder". You will see a 'zip folder'. right-click the 'zip folder' and select "extract" all... You will need to extract to your Empire Earth/Data or Empire Earth - Art of Conquest/Data folder (depending on which game you want to skin). Usually:
C:\Sierra\Empire Earth\Data
OR
C:\Sierra\Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest\Data
Click OK. You will be asked if you want to replace the existing folder. Choose "yes" or if offered "yes to all". Click "Finish". Thats all there is to it. Load EE and enjoy.
