Stairway To Heaven
By Led Zeppelin
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for. Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven.
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings, Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it makes me wonder.
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, And my spirit is crying for leaving. In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees, And the voices of those who standing looking. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it really makes me wonder.
And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune Then the piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long And the forests will echo with laughter.
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now, It's just a spring clean for the May queen. Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on. And it makes me wonder.
Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know, The piper's calling you to join him, Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.
And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul. There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold. And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last. When all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll.
And she's buying a stairway to heaven.

Kelly Clarkson: Break Away. this is a really good song I recommend you download it if you have Imesh, Kazaa or any free downloading service.
Grew up in a small town And when the rain would fall down I just stared out my window Dreaming of what could be And if I'd end up happy I would pray (I would pray)
Trying not to reach out But when I'd try to speak out Felt like no one could hear me Wanted to belong here But something felt so wrong here So I pray (I would pray) I could breakaway
[Chorus:] I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky I'll make a wish Take a chance Make a change And breakaway Out of the darkness and into the sun But I won't forget all the ones that I loved I'll take a risk Take a chance Make a change And breakaway
Wanna feel the warm breeze Sleep under a palm tree Feel the rush of the ocean Get onboard a fast train Travel on a jet plane, far away (I will) And breakaway
[Chorus]
Buildings with a hundred floors Swinging around revolving doors Maybe I don't know where they'll take me but Gotta keep moving on, moving on Fly away, breakaway
I'll spread my wings And I'll learn how to fly Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye I gotta take a risk Take a chance Make a change And breakaway Out of the darkness and into the sun But I won't forget the place I come from I gotta take a risk Take a chance Make a change And breakaway, breakaway, breakaway

Lol yes that was a good selling tactic. I have a record that has the word Insomniac which played backwards says "I Can't sleep".

Artist/Band: Blindside(They have 3 Cd's out, awesome band by the way..)
CD: "Silence"
Song:"She Shut Your Eyes"
She shut your eyes Now you could say better luck next time But I know you're about to die How deep can you drill into a man's soul Still say better luck next time When the only thing to fill it with is a lie
So say what you want But drops of crystal clear water Has been falling into your heart
Now you're sick of lying Tonight a star is shining On a heart that's dying The morning star is shining again So you better wake up You better rise up The morning star is shining again
How long has it been since you gave in Did it just take all this time For you to see you're not the Messiah She shut your eyes Or did you do it yourself with time Did you on purpose walk astray Did you choose to be a liar
A star called your name Will you use your voice to answer Just one last time
Now you're sick of lying down again...

AC/DC - Let There be Rock If you want to listen to a song that will make you feel like your blood is on fire without the "thrash metel" speed, then this is the one. It's my current favorite. Yes its old (1977) but ain't nothin like the classics. In the beginning Back in nineteen fifty-five Man didn't know about a rock 'n' roll show And all that jive The white man had the smoltz The black man had the blues No one knew what they was gonna do But Tchaikovsky had the news He said - "Let there be sound", and there was sound "Let there be light", and there was light "Let there be drums", and there was drums "Let there be guitar", and there was guitar "Let there be rock" And it came to pass That rock 'n' roll was born All across the land every rockin' band Was blowing up a storm The guitarman got famous The businessman got rich And in every bar there was a super star With a seven year itch There were fifteen million fingers Learning how to play And you could hear the fingers picking And this is what they had to say "Let there be light" "Sound" "Drums" "Guitar" "Let there be rock" One night in a club called `The Shaking Hand' There was a ninety-two decibel rocking band The music was good and the music was loud And the singer turned and he said to the crowd - "Let there be rock"

Iron Maiden - Rime of the Ancient Mariner
The AC/DC song above was for pure power. This one is power and brains. Iron Maiden is rightfully hailled as one of the most intellectual bands ever. This song is obviously based on the epic poem of the same name by Samuel Taylor Coleridge but it still stands on its own.
Hear the rime of the Ancient Mariner See his eyes as he stops one of three Mesmerises one of the wedding guests Stay here and listen to the nightmares of the sea.
And the music plays on, as the bride passes by Caught by his spell and the Mariner tells his tale.
Driven south to the land of the snow and ice To a place where nobody's been Through the snow fog flies on the albatross Hailed in God's name, hoping good luck it brings.
And the ship sails on, back to the north Through the fog and ice and the albatross follows on
The mariner kills the bird of good omen His shipmates cry against what he's done But when the fog clears, they justify him And make themselves part of the crime.
Sailing on and on and North across the sea Sailing on and on and North 'til all is calm.
The albatross begins with its vengeance A terrible curse a thirst has begun His shipmates blame the bad luck on the Mariner About his neck, the dead bird is hung.
And the curse goes on and on and on at sea, And the thirst goes on and on for them and me.
"Day after day, day after day, we stuck nor breath nor motion As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean Water, water everywhere and all the boards did shrink Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink."
There, calls the Mariner, there comes a ship over the line But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide.
See...onward she comes Onward she nears, out of the sun See...she has no crew She has no life, wait but there's two
Death and she life in Death, they throw their dice for the crew She wins the Mariner and he belongs to her now. Then...crew one by one They drop down dead, two hundred men She...She, Life in Death, She lets him live, her chosen one.
"One after one by the star dogged moon, too quick for groan or sigh each turned his face with a ghastly pang, and cursed me with his eye four times fifty living men (and I heard nor sigh nor groan), with heavy thump, a lifeless lump, they dropped down one by one."
The curse it lives on in their eyes The Mariner he wished he'd die Along with the sea creatres But they lived on, so did he.
And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom With heart he blesses them God's creatures all of them too
Then the spell starts to break The albatross falls from his neck Sinks down like lead into the sea Then down in falls comes the rain.
Hear the groans of the long dead seamen See them stir and they start to rise Bodies lifted by good spirits None of them speak and they're lifeless in their eyes.
And revenge is still sought, penance starts again Cast into a trance and the nightmare carries on.
Now the curse is finally lifted And the Mariner sights his home Spirits go from the long dead bodies Form their own light and the Mariner's left alone.
And then a boat came sailing towards him It was a joy he could not believe The pilots boat, his son and the hermit. Penance of life will fall onto Him.
And the ship sinks like lead into the sea And the hermit shrieves the Mariner of his sins.
The Mariner's bound to tell of his story To tell his tale wherever he goes To teach God's word by his own example That we must love all things that God made.
And the wedding guest's a sad and wiser man And the tale goes on and on and on.
