I started playing Empires Dawn of the Modern World because I'm getting tired of all the morons on AoC. Unfortunatly there are not a lot of people who play it. It's the exact same concept as EE ( but no CCs  ). If anyone else has it and decides to give it a shot I'm on As {Lu}•10010 1111 10. It's an OK game and the graphics are incredible if you can pump them up to full blast, if not you can tune them down for better performance but it still may tax your memory. I'm a total noob there but I'm learning. I think if there were a few of us there it could be fun. |

Thought I'd post a few pics of Empires so you all can take a look. Empires has several ages just like in EE and several Civs as well which are similar to the non-custom civs of EE, like Engand, USA, Korea, China, etc., only each civilization has unique units as well as abilities. All the screenshots I put here are in "epoch zoom" mode to best show the details, there are 3 different zooms just like in EE.

The graphics are exquisite. I think the sky is the most stunning. IMO
The game-play is terrible though.
They would make a good desktop backgrounds no lie!

Ya you're right the game play isn't that great, but to be honest I cant quite put my finger on why. It's actually a decent game once you get used to it.
